Carrington is accomplished in campaign consulting, grassroots campaigning, social/digital media, corporate affairs, political and commercial projects. An emerging leader in the industry with an established record of implementing nationally significant digital campaigns from start to finish. He has a passion for digital communication, social media, account management and politics.

Lead Digital Strategist & Campaign Consultant

At Crosby|Textor (C|T), Carrington developed strategies and executed digital campaigns for Crosby|Textor’s commercial and political clients. Carrington’s skills and business acumen are used to create nationally significant digital campaigns. He has a passion for digital communication, social media, user experience, campaigns and politics.
Carrington has also worked on campaigns for the Australian Liberal Party during the 2010 and 2013 Federal Elections. Providing exceptional social media techniques aimed at unraveling Labor’s social media campaign (during which time Kevin Rudd’s digital team consisted of members from Blue State Digital who worked on President Obama’s team.)
During the last few years Carrington has worked on over 20 digital campaigns at C|T. Executing the digital components and elements successfully and integrating digital and social media messaging into a wider narrative for C|T clients.

Working for SingTel Optus

Carrington worked with SingTel Optus, managing the customer interaction and user experience for the “Optus online shop” from a marketing and sales perspective. Also, involved in many other projects with Optus. Most notably, creating and producing the Australian offshoot Corporate Social Responsibility campaign the “It Gets Better” project and as a result Optus was the first commercial Australian company to deliver a message of hope to a diverse group in the community. The social media phenomenon went viral in the U.S. view it here It Gets Better – Shortly after, many Australian companies adopted the project including Optus’ competitor, Telstra.

My Education
